Living Out Christian Values Through Learning and Service

Why Faith Matters in Learning

At Namanve High School, education is not just about passing exams — it’s about shaping hearts, attitudes, and actions. That’s why we integrate faith and Christian values into our Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). We believe that true success comes from both knowledge and character.

In this section, we reflect on how learners are putting their faith into action — whether in the classroom, through projects, or in their daily relationships with others.

This Week’s Value: Responsibility

Memory Verse:

“Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else.” – Galatians 6:4 (NIV)

Reflection:

Responsibility means doing what is right, even when no one is watching. As learners, it includes:

  • Completing assignments on time
  • Taking care of school property
  • Supporting classmates during group work
  • Owning up to mistakes and learning from them

Last week, our S.2 learners demonstrated responsibility by planning and running their School Clean-Up Campaign. They organized themselves, brought tools, and worked joyfully—without being told what to do. That’s faith in action!

 Learner’s Voice

“I used to wait to be reminded to do things. But now I understand that being responsible is part of my walk with God.” — Grace N., S.3

 Prayer of the Week

“Dear Lord, help us to be responsible in our words, actions, and attitudes. Teach us to serve faithfully and to honor You in everything we do. Amen.”

Coming Up Next Week:

Value: Forgiveness
Memory Verse: Matthew 6:14

“If you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.”
